The Dodge Durango has a new lineup for 2017. The Limited is being replaced by the GT which is sportier and monochromic. The Durango Citadel has an appearance package called the Anodized Platinum. This package has upgrades like black and sepia two-toned Nappa leather seats with silver accent stitching, hand-wrapped instrument panel with soft-touch surface, gunmetal trim on the steering wheel and front and rear door speakers and tweeters, and platinum chrome exterior accents. Under the Durango's Hood

There are two engines for the Dodge Durango: 3.6-liter V6 with 290 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and a 5.7-liter V8 with 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. They both have an eight-speed automatic transmission and come standard as rear-wheel drive with an option for all-wheel-drive. The fuel economy for the V6 is 19 in the city and 26 on the highway for the RWD and 18 in the city and 25 on the highway for the AWD. The V8 is 14 in the city and 22 on the highway with both the RWD and AWD. The towing power is great for the Durango. The V6 can tow up to 6,200 pounds and the V8 can tow up to 7,400 pounds.

Design of Dodge Durango

The seven-passenger crossover can be personalized to have two captain's chairs to bring the passenger capacity to six. The different trim levels are SXT, GT, Citadel, and R/T. There are different packages available for the Dodge Durango. The Technology Group package is available for the Citadel and R/T that has adaptive cruise control, a forward collision warning system, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and lane departure warning. You could also get the blind monitoring in the Safety/Security and Convenience Group for the GT. The Brass Monkey is an appearance package available on the GT and the R/T that has a gloss-black grille, black headlamp bezels, bronze painted wheels and extra body trim. The Blacktop package is back for the GT and R/T that has black-painted wheels and black-out exterior trims. An add-on package is a Mopar Running Board package with black running boards and bright pedals. There are some features on the higher trim levels that are offered on the lower trim levels. You can also add things like a second-row console with armrest and storage with an in-console, 12-volt power outlet and USB charge port, a dual-screen rear entertainment system, and a trailer-tow package.

Is there an entertainment system available for the 2017 Dodge Durango?

There is a Blu-ray video rear entertainment system with two high-resolution 9-inch screens, one on each front seat back.
